Tri Camp Race Team Review in Mallorca
So defending champion Heather Jackson, myself and one of our Tri Camp guests Derek Hayden made our way to the Balearic Triathlon race the night before and check into the hotel. First problem, we don’t have our passports and they won’t let us stay without them! So after lots of calls back to Pollensa we finally get Lu (our chef) on her night off and in the pub to dash back to the staff house to find them, she finds mine but after searching through Heathers pants draw, there’s still no passport for Hev!
Setting my race goals for 2012
I spent December eating my way through too much Ben & Jerry’s (3 tubs in one sitting on one evening!), family bags of popcorn, massive tins of Quality Street and used my achilles injury as an excuse to skip training sessions. Of course my 4 month old son is also a welcomed distraction, watching him grow and learn all these new skills, well why wouldn’t I miss the odd turbo session to spend time with him?!
